Doors and Windows of cars

In the passenger car door, depending on location are divided into: vestibule (lateral, angular), heat (vestibule – slanting corridor), cabin (oblique corridor – interior), doors, boiler compartments, toilet rooms, compartment. Side and end doors are at the top of the window, protected by a safety grille, and fitted with locks under a special key and (or) under a triangular key, a "key lock" - lock, lockable only from the inside of the car. When you open the door it must be locked in the open position with the latch. During the movement of the train side doors have to be closed: non-vestibule - the "key lock", and triangular special key; in the working platform - the "key lock" and triangular key. In the absence of the triangular door key is closed for a special key. Deck lid at the ends must be locked on all locks; doors between the other cars can be covered only in emergency situations – samorastsep etc. In all other cases, the end doors should be open. The Windows in the cars are of the deaf and opening. Opening Windows can be made movable (go down), or as a transom – which recline into the interior of 15-20 or 180 degrees (depending on design). All Windows should have sun blinds.

Internal equipment of the car

All passenger cars have two vestibule, two corridors (oblique and small), two toilets, a passenger compartment, the boiler compartment, service compartment, a compartment for the rest of the conductors. The numbering of seats in second-class carriage starts with the first compartment, the lower berths have odd numbers; the top is even. Side seats starts, with 37 numbers and begins with 9 compartments. 53 and 54 sites are located in the first compartment. In a compartment numbering begins with the first to the ninth compartment. Double compartment at the front of the car and has the numbers 37 and 38. The compartment is equipped with:

beds – sofas with reclining seats, which are located under the lockers – drawers for Luggage;

middle bunk, hung on hinges, in the daytime can be raised and locked in an inclined position with spring lock

folding table

staircases and handrails for lifting on the second shelf

hooks for clothes, hangers for pants, gusenitsami.
