Gamma rays

The fact that this is an electromagnetic wave has been proven by experiments on diffraction on crystals. During these experiments, the wavelength of gamma rays was determined: from 10-8 to 10-11 cm. Their penetrating power is much higher than that of x-rays. On the electromagnetic wave scale, gamma rays follow directly behind x-rays. The speed of propagation, as with all electromagnetic waves, is 300,000 km/s.
