The main sources of danger

Sources of risk (material carriers) are:

people;
the objects forming the labour process and included in the objects of labor, means of labor (machines, tools, structures, buildings, land, roads, energy, etc.); the products of labor;
technology, operations, actions;
climate and natural environment (storms, floods, solar activity, etc.);
flora, fauna. In the analysis of the situation of the environment of human activities appear both external and internal sources of risk.
External sources — two kinds of phenomena:

the state of the environment activities (technical system) and erroneous, unintended actions of personnel, leading to accidents and creating for the environment and people's precarious situation. Different environmental factors act differently: if the technique and technology may be of immediate danger, the socio-psychological environment, with the exception of cases of direct sabotage, affect a person through his psychological state, through disruption of its activities.

Internal sources of risk due to victimization — personal characteristics of employees, which are linked to its social and psychological properties and present a subjective dimension of risk (this aspect is further considered the psychology of security activities).
