Application of tapered pins

Requires a design of great positioning accuracy relative to each other. At the same time, it must often be disassembled and reassembled. It is required to apply a conical pin.

When tightening, the tapered pin will sooner or later expose the parts to the desired position. When assembling and disassembling a node with a cylindrical pin, sooner or later there will be gaps. It is unlikely that this is spelled out in the norms, these are the rules of construction.

Put reducers on the conical. And they are no more complicated than cylindrical. The tool needs a proper cone reamer.

In stamps pins are often used and they are cylindrical. And they are repaired quite often relatively. At the same time that each fight was changed pins, then there is no such.

In stamps, it is better to abandon the pins in favor of other more reliable options.

The length of the tapered pins should be taken with a margin to subsequently compensate for the wear of the pins and holes.
